Biography

Cub Kahn, Center for Teaching and Learning Blended and Hybrid Learning Consultant, College Liaison and Ecampus Hybrid Coordinator, offers faculty development centering on hybrid course redesign to foster student learning through integration of on-campus and online course components. He guides faculty learning communities, facilitates workshops and webinars, and consults one-on-one with faculty. Prior to Cub’s present position, he developed curriculum and taught environmental sciences and geosciences for 20 years.

Cub earned a B.A. in environmental sciences, an M.S. in marine sciences, and an Ed.D. in technology education. Cub has received the Society of Technical Communication Award of Achievement, the OSU Outreach and Engagement Award for Outstanding Achievement in Innovation for online course development and teaching, the OSU Faculty Senate Student Success and Teamwork Award, and recognition as an OSU College of Business Partner in Innovation. Cub is trained as a Quality Matters peer reviewer and is a member of the Ecampus Course Development and Training team.
