Biography

Dr. Soicher is the 2022 Blended Learning Innovations in Pedagogy (BLIP) Faculty Fellow in partnership with CTL, Academic Technologies, Ecampus, and the Office of Undergraduate Education. In this role, Raechel will coordinate a yearlong OSU course redesign program, working with lead instructors of 3 to 5 large-enrollment courses to examine course structure and use of technology and pedagogical techniques to improve student success.

Outside of this fellowship, Raechel coordinates Statistics and Research Methods courses in the School of Psychological Science. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, with an emphasis in applied cognition, and is co-PI of the Motivation and Engagement for Student Success lab. Raechel has extensive experience with researching and implementing evidence-based pedagogical practices and is very excited to expand the reach of her work.
