Winter/Spring 2024 No-Strings-Attached Book club
It is always easier to read the books you feel you SHOULD and WANT to read if they are sitting beside you. Plus GOOD PEOPLE to DISCUSS them helps. We have curated a short list of some MUST-READS for those interested in teaching and learning, and provide an easy way to gather.
How Does it Work? Pick a book from the list below. Gather with colleagues. Enjoy the discussion. We give you the book for free and provide easy ways to structure your gatherings.

What's the Catch? None.
Start when it works best and aim to finish by the end of summer.
Gathering Options: Asynchronous, synchronous in person, synchronous on zoom.
Frequency of Gatherings: Determined by group.
The Process: groups can range from 3 - 5 faculty (tenure-track or fixed term), graduate students, or staff associated with teaching and learning.

Route 1: Get 2 - 4 colleagues/friends to agree to read the same book as you and complete on request.

Route 2: Specify your preferences in your request and we will pair you with others interested in the same book.
Our goal is to provide a guilt-free way to motivate your thinking about teaching, make new pedagogically-included friends, or gather with old ones. We would love to hear about your experiences and will provide avenues to share reflections, takeaways, and insights but the book is your regardless of your participation level.
